Lawn should be trimmed to the height of 1 to 1.5 inch for dethatching. Dint know this and has caused lot of damage to lawn.

I like how in the beginning he listed all the materials that you would need and then halfway through the video he's like, oh yeah and by the way make sure you have washers. Guess I'll make a second trip back to the hardware store because you didn't include that piece of information at the beginning of your video. Also it would have been nice if you specified how full we fill the tube with sand or pea gravel. You just say to fill it up with sand but you don't say if it needs to be half full or completely full.

I'm going to try this but put the eyelets on the end caps and leave it a little loose so it can spin I think dragging it will be harder on my mower just my opinion I'll find out and see

For the average person, scratching up a bald area and throwing this down is a pretty good option.

Should you detatch your lawn that you've let go dormant because of a drought for 2 months (Jun-Jul) but is now coming back slowly in late July? Just lots of dead grass from the drought.

I used that grass seed and I got some weed seed in that mix. I was floored thinking where are these weeds coming from all where I put the seeds at! And I put a lot down & the grass that grew was thin! So yes you don’t get much actual grass seed.

Has anyone figured out a Verticutter cartridge modification for the basic Greenworks Dethatcher? It's such a great dethatcher, but there has got to be a mod to get a verticutter cartridge to fit.

This year for Summer I have raised my HOC to 1", water 3 times a week @ an 1/2 hr per zone if we dont get at least 1" of rainfall, applied liquid fert and liquid iron right before 4th of July and have applied mixed apps of granular and liquid fungicides 3 time so far this year. Hand pulled any weeds that have popped up and still mow 2-3 times per week. The lawn is doing great for middle of July.

I agree it was a waste of money the on the EZ seed ,and the Bermuda Rapid Grass was equally worthless in my opinion.

I returned the ez seed to Lowe’s after watching this and bought their top soil mix and the grass seed mix from this video. I spent more time and money but the results are irrefutable. Thank you for this review. You probably saved me a few hundred dollars and aggravation

I made this mistake. You need to expose the tree flare. The tree will grow a secondary root system due to lack of oxygen. It will eventually kill the tree.
